You will have easy access to the Louvre by just walking across the pedestrian bridge, called La Passerelle des Arts, over the river Seine to the Right Bank.
The apartment covers the entire top floor of an 18th century building and is filled with light, calm, and quiet. It overlooks Parisian roofs and faces the Dome of the Institut de France. There is a flat screen Cable TV with English channels, DVD, and a Stereo with radio, CD, and Tape. Every room has its own telephone with free local calls. Long distance and international calls can be made with a calling card.
The modern kitchen overlooks the dining and living areas through an elegant bar with stools. It has pine wood antique cabinets, countertop and sink in stone, and brass faucets. The Master bedroom with a queen size bed was formerly a separate artist studio and is now accessed through a rare Indian painted double door. From this bedroom window you can see the dome of the Institut de France whose chimes ring discretely on the hour. The windows can be darkened with an electric roller shade.
The Master bedroom has an adjoining bathroom with a super size bathtub for 2, with a wall shower, in a special alcove that is finished with Moroccan tiles, antique porcelain fixtures, an electrical towel warmer, and a toilet. The windows in the second bedroom can be darkened with a manual roller shade.
The Second Bedroom is located near the apartment entrance, at the opposite side of the apartment, resulting in real privacy to each bedroom. It is equipped with 2 single beds that may be put together to form a queen size bed. The ceiling of this bedroom has old beams with a warm country feeling.
The second bathroom adjoining the second bedroom has a tiled walk-in shower, antique porcelain fixtures; wood beams, and is equipped with a clothes washing machine, a separate clothes dryer, and a toilet.
