This is a deluxe two bedroom apartment (1,100 sq. ft., sleeps 7) on the 2nd American floor of a 1900s building (w/elevator) in the very heart of Saint Germain des Pres (in the 7th arrondissement) with an easy walk to the Museum d'Orsay on the Left Bank. It's located inside a quiet courtyard on a small street very close to the Boulevard Saint Germain.
It offers ample living space with a separate living room and dining area, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, two toilets, and a separate good sized kitchen. It's ideal for two couples or a large family.
There is a spacious living room furnished in contemporary style complimented with typical French Haussmanian architecture (solid oak wood flooring, marble fireplace) making the space very modern. The living room has a cocktail table made of polished concrete, a sofa-bed (sleeps 2), an upholstered daybed (can also serve as a single bed if needed), 2 armchairs, and an oversized contemporary mural painting. There is Cable TV w/CNN and DSL access to the Internet. Adjacent to the living room is a separate dining room that can comfortably seat 8 guests at the table.
The large master bedroom has a king size bed, a genuine Chinese secretaire w/matching chair, and a built-in closet with wall-to-wall mirrored sliding doors providing extensive storage space.
Next to the master bedroom is the master bathroom which has been refurbished with light grey stone tiles. It has a bathtub and with hand shower w/wall attachment, as well as a double sink vanity, a toilet, and generous closet space.
The second bedroom has a king size bed that can be separated into two twin beds and a wall-to-wall built-in closet offering ample storage space.
Adjacent to the second bedroom is a second bathroom with a walk-in shower room made of polished white concrete and marble.
The modern style U-shaped fully furnished kitchen includes oven, microwave, dishwasher, a clothes washer, clothes dryer, refrigerator, and breakfast table.
