Situated on the Left Bank on the Rue du Bac, a stone's throw from the Boulevard St. Germain, this two bedroom apartment is in one of the most sought after and exclusive areas of Paris! The Louvre, Tuileries gardens, Musee d'Orsay, Ile de la Cite, Notre Dame, the banks of the Seine, and many other attractions are all within an easy walk. A bakery, grocery store and butcher are right nearby.
Some 1,450 sq. ft. large in a traditional, well kept building, the entire apartment - including the kitchen and bathroom - was entirely renovated in January 1999. It is attractively decorated and comfortably furnished with some nice antiques, and offers ample storage!
The entrance hall leads to a large attractive dining room with fine parquet floor, and glass dining table for six, with a double door opening onto the sitting room. There is a separate well equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, regular oven, microwave, gas heaters, fridge/ freezer. The spacious elegant living room has high ceilings, three windows that allow in plenty of daylight, a decorative fireplace (not in use), Cable TV with English channels, hardwood floors and rugs; it overlooks the street, and has a high quality double sofa bed (new in 2006).
The first bedroom off the sitting room has a King size bed, and in-suite bathroom, including toilet. It overlooks the street, and its double glazed windows shut out the street noise. A long corridor leads to the second bedroom with hardwood floor, rugs, two twin beds, and a view of the quiet courtyard. There is an adjacent, smaller but complete bathroom, a separate toilet and a laundry room with washer and dryer.
