This two bedroom luxury Air Conditioned apartment is in Paris' most desirable quarter of the Saint Germain des Pres district on the Left Bank. Is quiet but close to lots of activities and is an easy walk to the Luxembourg Gardens (5 minutes), famous restaurants (Coupole, Dome, Lutecia), Latin Quarter cafés, the Raspail open air market, theaters, movies and many monuments. This location is perfectly suited for families or visitors who wish to frequent the Luxembourg Gardens and the apartment is well configured for families or two couples. For the kids you are 5 minutes walk away from pony rides, a super playground and a famous puppet show. Others can enjoy reading in among the trees and flowers or enjoy walking in the very delightful district. Two metro stops and three bus lines are close to the apartment and this location affords easy access to the whole city.
The building is 1910 vintage with high ceilings, polished parquet floors, and elaborate wall and ceiling moldings which have been tastefully painted in contrast with the walls. The apartment is 1,000 Sq. Ft. plus two small balconies overlooking the street and sleeps up to five guests. This decorator designed apartment on the 5th American floor (with elevator) was completely repainted and refurbished in early 2008 and is furnished mostly in high quality antiques, but is also fully equipped with all the most modern appliances and conveniences.
The apartment has a large salon with an extra bonus area used as an office and dining room. The L shaped modern sofa bed opens to accommodate 1 adult or 2 small children (slightly wider than a single bed). The apartment equipment includes Cable TV (2), high speed Internet DSL access with Wi-Fi, a laptop PC, 2 flat panel TV's, and free worldwide outgoing phone service. There are also two air conditioning units.
The master bedroom has an antique King size bed and the second bedroom has two antique single beds that can be put together to form one very large bed. The bedding, sheets, and duvets are all high thread count and high quality.
The kitchen is brand new in 2008 and features the best built-in quality appliances - Miele and Bosch. There is a refrigerator, conventional oven with ceramic cook-top, a built-in Microwave oven, and dishwasher. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc.
The primary bathroom has a full size tub with wall shower, basin, and heated towel rack. There is also a separate walk-in shower in its own small room and a toilet in a separate enclosure. This apartment also includes a full size clothes washer and a separate clothes dryer.
