APARTMENT LOCATION

This is a stand alone private house just a few blocks mid-way between the famous "Bois de Boulogne" and the banks of the river La Seine. This district is elegant and has easy public transportation (Metro Exelmans; or buses driving you all along La Seine down to the very center) allowing you to be within a fifteen minute ride to most of the places you'd like to see. Restaurants are a five minute walk away. This location is easy walking distance from the Stade de Roland Garros (the Roland Garros Tennis Stadium) and the Jardin des Serres d'Auteuil - the botanical gardens of the City of Paris and the vestige of the plant nurseries of King Louis XV.

APARTMENT DESCRIPTION

The setting of this house is a rarity in Paris. It is located on a tiny pedestrian street where quietness is assured. You'll feel almost as if you were in the countryside... all the houses on the street being quite of the same kind. A small garden surrounds the house (shared with the owner) with an outdoor table and chairs for dining out, weather permitting.

The house is built on three levels with the first and second floors available to be rented (a separate basement apartment is for the private use of the owner).

The ground floor is opens onto the garden and features a sitting-room/dining room and a well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, cook-top and conventional oven, a microwave oven, and dishwasher.

The living room has a mix of classic style furnishings, both rustic and antique, with a sofa, paintings, a piano, and some sculptures. There is a working Fireplace that can be used.

From the first floor there is a staircase that leads to another level. This second floor has a bedroom, with comfortable queen sized bed. There is also an open den/sitting area, with desk, Stereo, a Flat Screen Cable TV and a two single beds.

The same level has a bathroom, with bathtub and shower attachment, vanity and toilet. There is also a clothes washer and hair dryer and iron.
