APARTMENT LOCATION

This is a wonderfully located one bedroom courtyard apartment (640 Sq. Ft., Sleeps 4) in the center of the “old” Saint Germain-des-Pres district between the Blvd. St. Germain and the Seine River. It enjoys direct access to a small courtyard garden shared with the adjacent apartment…. and they can be combined together as one rental that sleeps eight. It’s a two level “Duplex” layout with the entrance on the 2nd floor (with no elevator so there is one flight of stairs) and another interior set of stairs that go back down to a bedroom on the ground floor. It is in a traditional 17thCentury building, and has been renovated and redecorated, thus combining the best of an old Paris location with the comfort and convenience of modern amenities. Here you are surrounded by art galleries and antique shops sprinkled with cafes and boutiques of every kind. It is a few blocks to the Seine and an easy stroll across the Pont des Arts bridge directly into the Louvre museum.

APARTMENT DESCRIPTION

This apartment is exceptionally quiet with no street noise. The salon on the main floor has some exposed stone walls, exposed ceiling beams, and three tall windows overlooking a small private courtyard… and the trees of a private park behind. It has a mix of period and modern furniture and is elegantly furnished. The salon is divided into a living room area and an open bedroom/sleeping area furnished with a queen-size bed. Equipment includes a flat screen Cable TV with DVD, high speed DSL Internet with Wi-Fi, phone, and CD/Stereo player. The dining table can comfortably seat four.

The kitchen is separate and is fully equipped with all accessories and cooking utensils. There is a cook-top with four electric burners, a combo convection - microwave oven, a refrigerator with freezer, and a toaster and coffee maker, as well as a combination clothes washer/dryer.

An oak staircase on the main floor leads to the downstairs bedroom. It has two single size beds that can be made up into one King size bed (a split King bed) upon request and as needed. There is also an additional single rattan style day bed that can sleep one. This bedroom also has direct access to the private shared courtyard full of plants.

The bathroom has a basin and a full size deep bathtub with wall-mounted shower. The toilet is separate.
