APARTMENT LOCATION

This is a modern, completely refurbished, one bedroom apartment (510 Sq. Ft., Sleeps 5-6) located on a short quiet street between rue des Archives and rue du Temple, just one block from the rue de Bretagne market street…. the oldest food market street in Paris. The Marche des Enfants Rouges and the different specialty food shops are all very close. This part of the Marais district is having a renaissance with new galleries and boutiques and some interesting small restaurants. It is just steps from a delightful park with a children’s playground and is mid way between the George Pompidou Centre and the Place de la Republic with all its shops and restaurants. The 3rd arrondissement city hall, the Picasso Museum, the Museum de Judaism, and another half dozen museums are all within an easy stroll.

APARTMENT DESCRIPTION

The apartment, on the 5th American floor (with an elevator) of a classic building, is entered through a security door opening into a small hallway. Off the hallway is a large living room with a modern comfortable sofa-bed, a dining area with table for 4-6, and a modern open style kitchen. Double sliding doors lead into the small study area with a small double sofa-bed (sleeps 2 children or 1 adult). The bedroom and bathroom are to the left of the living room. There are refinished parquet floors (and a new slate floor in the study), high ceilings, and classic moulding throughout the apartment. Equipment includes a large flat screen Cable TV w/DVD and many channels including CNN and the BBC, Stereo, and high speed DSL Internet with Wi-Fi.

In the main bedroom there is a modern comfortable queen size bed surrounded by built in wardrobes and storage. There are two coloured glass panels in the wall between the bedroom and living room allowing light to travel between these rooms. The windows have modern blinds which keep out the light at night. The apartment can sleep 5 adults in three beds (queen size bed in the bedroom, double sleep sofa in the lounge and a small double sleep sofa behind the kitchen) or 4 adults and 2 young children.

The modern kitchen has a four element ceramic cook-top, full size oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, full height fridge/freezer, and excellent storage space. The apartment has a full inventory of quality dishes, cutlery, glassware, and cooking equipment.

There is also small study located behind the kitchen that can also be used as an extra sleeping space as it has a small double sleep sofa. The clothes washer and dryer are also situated in this room and are set into a cupboard.

The Bathroom has a large walk-in shower and basin. There is a toilet and another basin in a separate enclosure.
