This is a very large and traditional one bedroom apartment (715 Sq. Ft., Sleeps 4) furnished with a very classic and comfortable décor. The apartment is on the third floor without an elevator so there are two flights of stairs to manage. The apartment is in a good building with a pleasant interior courtyard. This area of the Marais district (known as the “village”) is one of most residential and “upscale” parts with a large international component in residence. It is a very pleasant area for walking, both day and night. From here you can easily walk to the Bastille Opera, the Place des Vosges Park with its 17th Century buildings, the Ile Saint Louis and Ile de la Cite (with Notre dame Cathedral), the Saint Paul district, and the old Jewish district of the Marais around rue Rosiers.
In the large living room there is a double sofa bed and a set of leather easy chairs placed in front of a real working fireplace, finished with wood mantel. The ceilings are high and the windows are large and there are area rugs on the parquet floors. A portion of this room is set aside as a dining area with a wooden table and chairs. The layout of the rooms has windows on two sides that can provide cross ventilation on the warmer summer nights. Equipment includes a flat screen Cable TV, Stereo, and DSL Internet access with Wi-Fi.
The bedroom has a double bed and comfortable seating with a large window over the courtyard.
The kitchen is in a separate room and is equipped with a full size refrigerator, conventional oven, Microwave oven, conventional cook-top w/exhaust, and Dishwasher. It also enjoys a large window overlooking the courtyard.
The bathroom has a bathtub with wall shower and basin. The toilet is separate. There is also a separate clothes Washing Machine and Dryer.
