This is a small charming two bedroom apartment (540 sq. ft., sleeps 6) on the Right Bank of Paris on rue Rambuteau in the Marais district in the 4th arrondissement. It's located between the rue du Temple and rue des Archives, opposite the Museum of the History of France. This is at the beginning of the rue des Francs-Bourgeois, which is one of the most exciting shopping streets of Paris. Rue Rambuteau itself has a wonderful selection of food shops and delicatessens as well as excellent brasseries and small restaurants. The nearest metro stations are Rambuteau by the Pompidou Centre museum or Hotel de Ville. There is a bus (# 29) that stops outside and goes direct to Bastille. The Seine is also nearby with the Chatelet area and Notre Dame Cathedral just a short walk away.
This apartment is on the 3rd floor w/elevator, in a classic 18th century building. It has five large double glazed windows and plenty of light. The apartment entry has a full security door and video entry system. The furnishing are of a high standard with elegant items including a designer leather sofa bed and matching easy chair in the living room as well as a small table w/chairs, bookshelf, and lamps. It is fully equipped with telephone, cable TV w/DVD player, and a Hi-fi CD player/radio. There is also a permanent Internet connection with a basic portable PC computer so you can check your e-mail. Heating is by individual room modern electric radiators.
The main bedroom has a top quality queen size bed with excellent mattress and headboard. The pillows are non-allergenic. There are 2 bedside tables with reading lamps.
The second bedroom, accessed via double glass doors, has a special convertible bed, which either makes a queen size double bed or two singles, as well as being a comfortable sofa.
This apartment has a small beautifully equipped kitchen with electric cook-top and conventional oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a clothes washer/dryer. There is plenty of cupboard space. It is furnished with an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, and alarm clock, as well as all crockery, glassware, cutlery, pans, and utensils.
The modern marble tiled bathroom has a full bathtub w/shower, a modern double basin w/wall mirror, and toilet.

High Season: March 1st - July 31st, Sept 1st - Nov. 15, and Dec 15 - Jan 10.

Low Season: All other times.

SPECIAL NOTE: Surcharge for a 5 night rental is 15% and surcharge for a 6 night rental is 10%.
