APARTMENT DESCRIPTION

This is a 500 sq. ft., air-conditioned apartment (sleeps 4) that looks over an interior courtyard with un petit jardin. It is newly furnished with modern Louis 14th period reproductions. Although in an active area this apartment is especially quiet due to the interior orientation and double-glazed windows with solid drapes to manage the strong sunlight.

The living room has a couch (double sofa bed), two side chairs, coffee table, end table, lamps, ornate chair, and bookcase w/books and music CDs. There is a decorative fireplace with a large ornately framed mirror, cable TV w/CNN, DSL with Wi-Fi, and a stereo. High ceilings, beautiful refinished hardwood parquet floors with an area carpet, a writing desk, and wall decorations complete the setting.

In the bedroom there is a standard queen size bed with headboard and curved footboard, a large wardrobe, electric Franklin stove, end tables w/lamps, a bench, and a closet. There is also a second decorative fireplace with an ornate mirror. The double glazed windows look over the interior courtyard, which makes it quieter.

Next to the bedroom there is an en suite bathroom, which has a tub w/Jacuzzi, wall and hand shower, basin, full wall mirror, and a clothes washer/dryer. The toilet is in its own enclosure.

The modern kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer, oven, four cooking elements, microwave, and dishwasher. It is fully equipped with pots, pans, coffee pot, teakettle, and service for eight. The dining area is part of the kitchen and has a table w/four chairs.
