This is a unique Air Conditioned two bedroom and two full bathroom apartment (682 Sq. Ft., Sleeps 4) in the historic Marais district just steps from the Place des Vosges. It is up one flight of stairs in a small corner building. Here you are just two minutes from the Place de Vogues in the 4th Arrondissement and close to the Franc Bourgeois fashion boutiques, the Rue Rosiers pedestrian street, the Marche du St. Catherine, the Picasso Museum, and Place Bastille…. and so much more. This is heaven central for walking and exploring the historic 17 Century Marais district, even across the hidden courtyards of the Hotel Sully, across Rue Rivoli, and through the old-town district to the river Seine and the Ile Saint Louis. This area also is filled with every possible cafe and restaurant.
This Marais two bedroom and two bathroom apartment was remodeled in 2010 with a total renovation of the kitchen and two bathrooms. The apartment is best suited for 2-4 people. The decorating is very Parisian and quite lovely. There is a large living room and open style kitchen, and two bedrooms (w/Air Conditioning) and two en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen window and the windows of both bedrooms and the bathtub look out onto a central atrium with plants, which is pleasant to see and provides additional light to all the rooms around it. The main Salon has a high open beamed ceiling, refinished wood floors, an antique fireplace (closed) and is completely furnished with antiques. The large windows in the salon look out over the street. There is a double sofa-bed in the salon that can offer flexibility in the sleeping configuration. Equipment includes Cable flat screen TV, Stereo w/CD player, and DSL Internet access with Wi-Fi.
The master bedroom has a King size bed and a bathroom with basin, walk-in shower, and toilet.
The second bedroom is accessed through the master bedroom and has a trundle bed which can sleep two as independent singles and its own bathroom with a bathtub with a hand shower, basin, and toilet.
The modern kitchen has a refrigerator, conventional oven, ceramic cook-top, dishwasher, ice machine, and a clothes washer/dryer. There is also a Safe with key.
Special Note: This apartment includes one two-hour maid service per week and a wine and cheese welcome for guests.
