Here you are very close to rue des Rosiers, one of Paris historic Jewish neighborhoods with a lot of great delicatessen, bakeries and kosher food. Rue des Francs Bourgeois is full of great boutiques. There is an international bookstore on the corner; a great stop for your newspaper before sitting down at one of the numerous cafes. And of course, a block away, the famous BHV department store where you will find everything you may need. the laundromat is at the corner at the end of the block.
The apartment is up just one flight of stairs on the 2nd floor (no elevator). You enter into a small vestibule and the 1/2 bath is on your immediate left. Following along you enter into the kitchen area, which includes oven, stove, fridge and all the utensils you will need. Next is the bathroom, with full bathtub and wall shower. This area is separated from the rest of the apartment with a double French door. There is a dining area (table and seats for 5), with dividers and curtain separating it from the large salon.
The salon is a large open area with sofa, coffee table, and an antique fireplace (closed). Steps to the right lead to a sleeping loft above with a double bed. The apartment has three large windows looking on to a quiet courtyard with plants, a TV, and a Stereo.
