APARTMENT LOCATION

This is a very large modern luxury apartment (1,980 Sq. Ft, Sleeps 6) with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and an exceptional, and very rare, huge (1,980 Sq. Ft. ) terrace covering the whole roof-top of the building with sweeping 360 degree views of Paris. It is located in the Marais district (4th arrondissement) between Place Bastille and the Right Bank of the Seine River. It is a short walk to the Bastille Opera and almost adjacent to the Bassin de l'Arsenal where private yachts are moored at the juncture of the Canal Saint Martin and the Seine. This is Paris's little sailing port located on part of the former moat of the Bastille. The quay which runs alongside, gives access to a large public garden. This is a quiet upscale residential neighborhood but close to lots of activity. The Place des Vosges, Ile Saint Louis, and Notre Dame Cathedral can all be reached by walking.

APARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Located on the 6th Floor and 7th floors (w/elevator to the 6th floor) of a good quality Haussmannien building with security code and an intercom, this apartment is a two level “duplex’, spread over two floors. On the 6th floor where you enter there is an expansive double size Salon. The main portion is a sitting area with sofa and easy chairs organized around a coffee table placed in front of a fireplace. The second portion has another, smaller, sofa placed as part of an office/library set-up. There is a long balcony along the windows of the main salon. Equipment includes, Cable TV, Stereo, and DSL Internet access with Wi-Fi. Also on this main level is a large, state-of-the-art kitchen adjacent to a formal dining room that will seat eight. The modern kitchen has a double wide refrigerator, conventional oven, ceramic cook-top, Microwave oven, and Dishwasher. There is also an extra separate toilet on this level.

Upstairs, on the 7th floor, are the three bedrooms with double-gazed windows. The Master bedroom has Air Conditioning, a Queen size bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub w/hand shower, double basins, and an additional separate walk-in shower. There is also a large closet to store clothes and luggage in the bedroom. The second bed room has two single beds that can easily be put together to make a single king size bed. There is also a large closet and the small balcony. The third bedroom has two single beds (a “trundle” bed) with the second single bed stored underneath the first one. These two single beds are separate and cannot be organized to form a single double bed. The second and third bedrooms share a separate modern bathroom with a bathtub w/wall shower, two basins, and with second separate toilet. The last room on the upper floor is a laundry/storage room with a full size clothes washing machine and a separate full size clothes dryer.

Finally, on the roof of the building is a huge private terrace with plenty of outdoor furniture and exceptional views over the Paris roof-tops.
