This is an absolute lovely and impeccable modern two bedroom apartment located on the small rue Eugene Gibez just three short blocks from the major intersection of rue de Vaugirard and rue de Convention in the 15th arrondissement. This location is ideal for access to the famous Cordon Bleu cooking school and the UNESCO headquarters, and its only one metro stop to the huge Palais des Congres business center. Its not far from the Eiffel Tower and its near the metro so its perfect for quick trips into the historic center of Paris.
This large 770 sq. ft. apartment (sleeps 4) is on the third American floor (with elevator) in a modern 1972 building with central heating, a lobby intercom, and a security digicode. The windows in the salon look over the street and the bedroom windows overlook the quiet interior building courtyard gardens.
The apartment was completely remodeled and updated in 2004. It has white walls, polished hardwood floors, and elegant contemporary furnishings arranged in a spacious and uncluttered arrangement. An entrance foyer leads to the large salon where west facing windows the catch the afternoon sunlight. There is a large L shaped leather divan with colorful throw pillows at one end and a formal dining area with an elegant glass top table and chairs for six and a glass topped side table at the other end. Equipment includes a large flat screen TV w/ Cable CNN and Cable DSL high speed Internet access (you need only bring your own notebook).
The Master Bedroom has a Queen Size bed and shares a full length balcony with the second bedroom that looks over the interior garden. The bedroom windows face east and catch the morning sunlight.
The second bedroom is set up for children and has a space efficient trundle bed that can be two singles or be closed up to make one single bed suitable for a child or small adult. It has an additional TV.
The modern kitchen has a conventional oven, ceramic cook-top, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and a clothes washer. It has plenty of room to prepare meals and is equipped with utensils for eight.
The bathroom has a basin and full bathtub with a hand shower. The toilet is in a separate enclosure.
