This spacious, deluxe two bedroom apartment (810 sq.ft.) is on the ground floor of a 1930 building located in a secluded private courtyard in the heart of the busy Latin Quarter. From the street you would never guess what a treasure is hidden behind the tall ivy covered walls. A small stone paved path leads from the main gate to the private courtyard and the entrance into the building. Right across the street from Hemingway's first Paris apartment, adjacent to the famous place de la Contrescarpe, a stone's throw from the Pantheon and the Jardin du Luxembourg, this is the ideal location for those who want to explore Paris but also inhabit it like a local.
The living room area is decorated with modern classics, two sofas, and a striking free form coffee table on a shag rug. The wall to wall graphic art work creates a counterpoint to the neutral palette of colors and materials of the room.
Adjacent to the living space, the dining room displays a rectangular glass top table surrounded by ivory-colored poufs. The two niches open onto the corridor to allow maximum light flow throughout the apartment.
The Master bedroom overlooks a small private garden and offers a King size bed. A wall-to-wall closet opposite the bed offers ample storage space.
The second bedroom displays a wall to wall painting and twin beds which can be reunited into a King size bed. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, convection and microwave oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer and all other necessary supplies. Countertop and credenza are made of almond green glass with wall cabinets of black glass. The bottom cabinets are chamois colored.
The Master bathroom displays an impressive black glass top cabinet and taupe stoneware tile flooring with limestone finish on the walls. The custom made oversized bathtub is designed as a small pool and includes a fixed rain shower head as well as a handle unit.
The spacious second bathroom has a shower and displays a large countertop made of light and dark grey stoneware tiles with a stone wash basin. The oversized rain shower is equipped with a hand unit as well.
The apartment comes is equipped with Cable TV, washer/dryer, air conditioning, and WIFI and Ethernet high speed internet connection.
