APARTMENT LOCATION

This large one bedroom apartment is located on Place Jussieu in the Latin Quarter, close to rue Mouffetard (the famous market street). It's a short walk to the river Seine and a 15 minutes walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. The Place Jussieu metro is just steps from the building door with two metro lines (line 7 to the Marais and the Right Bank and line 10 directly into Saint Germain des Pres). A variety of restaurants, cafes and open air markets surround this apartment in one of the oldest districts of Paris.

APARTMENT DESCRIPTION

This apartment is extremely calm, overlooking a private courtyard, and well located on the 3rd American floor (with no elevator). It was completely refurbished with new furnishings in September 2005. The de cor is contemporary and set up for easy living. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed large enough for 2 people with a thick mattress. There are two matching chairs, a coffee table, and area rug. The dining area has a round table and seating for four. There is one original exposed stone wall and the floors are refinished parquet. The apartment has Cable TV w/English channels and high speed DSL Internet access (bring your own notebook computer).

There is a Queen size bed in the bedroom, two bedside table w/ reading lamps, and a small writing table w/chair and lamp.

The completely modernized kitchen has a ceramic cook-top w/exhaust, Microwave oven, refrigerator, Dishwasher, and Clothes Washer (no dryer). There is ample cabinet space and counter room.

The bathroom has a full tub with wall shower and basin. The toilet is in a separate enclosure. The access for both is from the main salon so they can be easily shared.
