This is a classically furnished two bedroom apartment on the edge of the Latin Quarter (5th arrondissement) just next to the Saint Germain des Pres district and only 2 blocks from the Boulevard Saint Michel, the Jardins du Luxembourg park, and two blocks from the Sorbonne and the Pantheon. This location in a residential district but within walking distance to the social action around Blvd. St. Germain and Odeon makes for the best of both environments. This is a high quality apartment in a "Haussmanian" building on the sixth floor with elevator with a close up direct view on the Pantheon and a long distance view of the Eiffel tower from the kitchen and the bedrooms.
This large apartment (1,320 Sq. Ft., Sleeps 7) starts with an entry to a great double living-dining room with views over the roofs of Paris and the Pantheon. The Living room has two couches and one of them is a modern comfortable double sofa bed. The rooms have area rugs over wood parquet floors, high ceilings, and the traditional ceiling moldings found in Paris. Equipment includes Cable TV, stereo, and DSL Internet access. The dining room portion includes a very beautiful expandable dining table making it possible to dine with 8 people. Both the living room and the dining room have large windows and traditional glass pained doors on the interior hallway.
Each of the two bedrooms is uncharacteristically very large (330 Sq. Ft) and have windows overlooking the interior building courtyard so they are both quiet and calm. The first bedroom is has two single beds put together to form a Queen size bed and a third single bed arranged as a bench. This room also has an ensuite washroom with a hand wash basin. The second bedroom has a double bed, easy chair, and a large antique armoire.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a conventional convection oven, a ceramic cook-top, a microwave oven, dishwasher, and clothes washing machine.
The bathroom includes a large bath-tub with wall shower.
The toilet is separate.
