This elegant apartment is located in the heart of the Latin Quarter behind the Pantheon and is a short walk from the Boulevard St. Germain, Boulevard St. Michel, and the Sorbonne. The famous fresh food market of rue Mouffetard is right next door. In this apartment you can expect to hear the church bells! Throughout this area, bistros, cafes, restaurants and boutiques abound. This is a great place for exploring or just watching the world go by from a sidewalk cafe. The banks of the Seine, the Ile St. Louis, the Ile de la Cite and Notre Dame are all within an easy stroll.
Although entirely renovated in 1990, the antique charms of this building have been preserved. A short flight of stairs from the elevator, this apartment is light and sunny and has lovely views over a park and garden on either side. You can even see the dome of the Pantheon! Tastefully appointed, it offers a pleasant mixture of quality antique and modern furniture.
Designed to retain its original character, the attractive, sunny living room, with its lovely old beams, tiled floor and rugs, features a warm stone wall and fireplace (not in use), white linen covered arm chairs and a single sofa bed, dining furniture, and TV, Stereo, and DSL Internet access with Wi-Fi.
The small galley style kitchen, offers a marble-top dining bar for four, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, as well as a classic oven and stove with two electric burners.
To accommodate the small kitchen space the conventional oven is placed unusually high above the refridgerator so you must be very tall or stand on a chair to use it.
One Bedroom has two single beds and a nice marble bathroom with tub and shower attachment. The smaller, second bedroom has a French double bed in a limited space. (Note: the beds are unusually low). The toilet is seperate.
