Also a protected area of particular architectural interest, you'll enjoy exploring delightful cobbled streets and alleys. The Boulevard St. Michel, the Sorbonne, Pantheon, Musee de Cluny, Luxembourg Gardens, Jardin des Plantes, and the Arenes de Lutece from Roman times are only some of the great places to visit within easy walking distance. This is a very good location from which to explore Paris - around 8 minutes by a direct metro line to the Marais, the Ile St. Louis, and not much more to the Louvre, Ile de la Cite and Notre Dame.
A pleasing, well-kept early 20th century building with small elevator takes you to this 5th floor apartment. This is a sunny apartment with polished parquet throughout, comfortable modern furnishings and some nice touches such as the use of decorative stained glass. All rooms lead off the small entrance hall. A narrow balcony affords a great view over the rooftops of Paris.
There is a bright, good-sized living room with glass doors leading onto the balcony, a dining area, a TV, and a good quality double sofa bed. The kitchen is equipped with a combined microwave/classic oven and a dishwasher. The twin beds in the bedroom can be combined to make a wide double bed. The bathroom has a tub and shower attachment; the toilet is separate. A washing machine is available. The apartment has gas central heating.
