This is a large deluxe partially Air Conditioned two bedroom and two bathroom apartment (1,012 Sq. Ft. - Sleeps 5 ) in the 7th arrondissement on the Left Bank of Paris within easy walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, the open air market on rue Cler, the new Quai Branly Museum, and the Seine river. Located in a quiet building set behind two courtyards it is has close proximity to numerous cafes, bistros, and restaurants in an active district. When you step out on the street you will have a direct close view of the Eiffel Tower.
This luxury apartment is in an early 1800s building, where you can hear the church bells of Saint Jean Eglise, was completely renovated and refurbished in 2006. It is on the 4th floor (with elevator and some steps down) and is open and airy with double glazed windows opening over courtyards and with light filled rooms. The high quality furnishings and equipment are complimented with refined fabrics and bedding throughout the apartment. The refinished hardwood floors (some original) have plush area carpets and he living room is Air Conditioned with fans for the rest of the apartment. It is ideal for two couples and sleeps four comfortably (sleeps five with permission of the owners).
The plush living room has ample seating including a couch, an oversized chair, a leather reclining club chair, an antique game table w/two chairs, and two additional chairs. There is an operational fireplace with an antique wood mantel and double glazed windows with silk lined drapes opening over a grassy interior courtyard. It has DSL Internet access with Wi-Fi, Cable TV, and free phone calls to the US and Canada.
The dining room has a unique glass topped table seating eight facing an open galley style kitchen separated by a granite top counter. Equipment includes a refrigerator w/freezer, conventional oven, cook-top, dishwasher, microwave, clothes washer and dryer, espresso machine, and serving dishes for eight with a complete set of pots and pans, and everything needed to prepare full meals.
The master bedroom has an antique Queen size bed and a 19th century armoire with a Cable TV set inside. It has ample storage for hanging clothes as well as shelves for easy storage and large windows opening over a courtyard. The adjacent master bathroom has a full bathtub with wall shower, basin, toilet, towel warmer and plush terry and Spa robes, hair dryer, curlers and toiletries provided for guests use.
The second bedroom with a Queen size bed, overlooks the garden courtyard and has a clothing valet and dresser. This bedroom also has a small sliver of a direct view on the Eiffel Tower with the delightful night-time lights. The second full bathroom has a corner basin, tiled walk-in shower, toilet, towel warmer, and Spa robes, hair dryer, curlers and toiletries provided for guests use.
There is also a large office space with a combination desk/dresser, a reclining leather sofa, and a built-in Queen size Murphy bed.
