This is a comfortable three bedroom family apartment (950 Sq. Ft., Sleeps 6) just a short walk directly across from the Eiffel Tower and very close to the banks of the Seine and the Seine River BatoBus shuttle barge stop. Within a few minutes’ walk are the grassy lawns of the Champs de Mars, the Musée Branly (museum of primitive arts), and just cross the river, the Palais de Chaillot at the Place du Trocadéro, with the Paris Navy museum (Musée de la Marine) and the Musée de l'Homme with it’s wonderful café overlooking the Eiffel Tower. The immediate area is residential, with fine 19th century apartment buildings and good restaurants, and just behind, are the popular Saint Dominique and rue Cler districts.
The RER high speed metro at the Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station will take you within minutes direct to the Musée d’Orsay, or you can continue one more stop to the Boulevard Saint Michel and the Ile de la Cité and the Notre Dame Cathedral. The metro line 8 will take you direct to the Palais Garnier Opera, the Bastille Opera, and the Marais district.
Located on the second floor of an 18th Century apartment building with an elevator, this is a family style apartment is pleasantly furnished with a mix of antique and contemporary furniture. This three bedroom apartment accommodation has large windows, high ceilings, and polished parquet floors. Double glazing throughout protects the apartment from street noise.
The living room is furnished with sofa and a mixture of comfortable chairs. Equipment includes a large flat screen Cable TV with English channels (CNN, BBC), DVD player, Stereo, and DSL with Wi-Fi Internet access. There is also a PC computer (with French azerty keyboard).
The Bedrooms are not large but they have good hanging and shelf space. Bedroom #1 overlooks the interior building courtyard and has a Queen size bed. Bedroom #2 overlooks the interior building courtyard and has two twin beds. Bedroom #3 overlooks the street and also has two twin beds.
There is a large and very well equipped Kitchen with a clothes washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, conventional oven, refrigerator, and cook-top with 6 gas cooking elements. There is a dining table in the kitchen.
The Bathroom has a basin and bathtub with wall shower. The toilet is in a separate enclosure.
