This is a really large and exceptional Ile Saint Louis one bedroom apartment (627 Sq. Ft., Sleeps 4) located on the top floor (6th floor with elevator) of a quality building on the Ile Saint Louis. This is in the very center of Paris between the Left Bank (Latin Quarter and St. Germain des Pres) and the Right Bank districts (the Marais and Chatelet - Les Halles). The Ile Saint Louis Island is one of the most desired places to stay in Paris. It is has protected 17th century architecture, narrow streets, and wonderful open views from its tree-lined quays along the Seine. There are boutiques, a baroque church, old-fashioned bistros and brasserie, refined chocolate and gourmet food shops, a florist, bakeries, a cheese shop, and many “Salon de Thé” teahouses. The Hotel de Ville (City Hall), the Pompidou Centre , the Sainte Chapelle and Notre Dame Cathedral on Ile de la Cite, the Place St. Michel and Sorbonne in the Latin Quarter, the Bastille and Le Marais are all within walking distance.

APARTMENT DESCRIPTION

This apartment has a great sense of open space with a double living room under high sloped wooded roof beams and with refinished wooden floors. The furnishings are contemporary and there is a double sofa bed and an adjacent “petit salon” with its own sofa as well as a separate dining area with table and chairs. The large windows let in lots of light… and have views over the street and as they are on both sides they can open to offer lots of fresh air and complete circulation. Equipment includes Cable TV, Stereo, and DSL Internet with Wi-Fi.

There is a separate bedroom with a double bed and a large built-in wall closet (with mirrored doors) that offer lots of storage.

The small kitchen is fully equipped and functional with a refrigerator, Combo Microwave/Convection Oven, ceramic cook-top, and Dishwasher. There is also a combo Clothes Washer/Dryer Machine.

The bathroom has a bathtub with wall shower and basin and is accessible directly from the hallway. The toilet lavatory is separate.
