This very quiet apartment in the 4th arrondissement is located on Ile Saint Louis in the middle of the river Seine between the historic Marais district on the Right Bank and the Latin Quarter on the Left Bank. Itï¿½s on the 2nd floor (no elevator) in an ancient building with digicode and intercom controlled entry just a few minutes walk to Notre Dame Cathedral across the bridge on Ile de la Cite.

APARTMENT DESCRIPTION

The main salon of this apartment has wonderful exposed original stone walls, exposed hand hewn wood ceiling beams, refinished hardwood floors with oriental rugs, a contemporary fireplace, and modern furnishings. There is a curved sectional double sofa-bed that is suitable for sleeping one, a glass coffee table, comfortable modern easy chair, TV w/English stations, DSL, and Stereo.

The high ceiling has allowed the building of a mezzanine-level sleeping loft which serves as the bedroom. Around this is an open, steel railing that is accessed via a matching curved steel staircase. The loft is simply furnished and has a French double bed.

The open plan kitchen looks onto the salon and has an electric cook-top, microwave oven, refrigerator, and a clothes washing machine.

The bathroom has a full bathtub with wall shower, a basin and mirror, and toilet.
