APARTMENT LOCATION

This is a huge, three bedroom plus two and a half bathroom, Ile Saint Louis apartment (1,760 Sq. Ft., Sleeps 9) located on the top floors of a beautiful 17th century building located on the Quai de Bourbon with a view over the Seine river towards the Marais district on the Right Bank. The Ile-St-Louis, in the center of Paris, has a mixture of 17th century architecture, modern boutiques, narrow streets and magnificent Paris views from its tree-lined quays. There is a Baroque church, many refined boutiques, old-fashioned bistros and brasserie, delicate chocolate and food shops, a florist, bakeries, a wonderful cheese shop and many pretty salon de thé. From here you can walk to the Pompidou Centre, the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries Garden, St.-Germain-des-Pres, and the Latin Quarter. The Bastille and Le Marais are within walking distance and Notre Dame and the Sainte Chapelle are just across the bridge, on Ile de la Cité.

APARTMENT DESCRIPTION

This apartment has a private elevator... but you must climb one flight of stairs to reach the bottom of the elevator. The apartment is also spread over multiple floors with interior stairways so you must climb two flights of stairs for complete access. The elevator brings you to the entrance of the apartment from where you have access to the internal stairs. On the main level of this Paris apartment, about half a flight up, there is the living room, a formal dining room, and the kitchen. The lounge is quite large, about 550 Sq. Ft. with direct views over the river and is furnished with a combination of comfortable contemporary sofa and antiques. In one corner there is an antique writing table. Equipment includes a large flat screen Cable TV, Stereo, and DSL Internet access with Wi-Fi. Three steps down from the salon is a formal dining room with a large marble table with seating for 10/12 guests. The modern kitchen opens onto the dining room.

A first small bedroom located a few steps from the salon has two single beds that can be put together to form a real Queen size bed with an extra sub-mattress if desired. This bedroom shares the first bathroom that has a basin, bathtub, an independent walk-in shower, and a toilet.

The second completely independent bedroom is up the stairs with a double bed mattress on a mezzanine and a second bathroom with a basin, walk-in shower, and a toilet.

The master bedroom is located on the top floor. It is very large, about 440 Sq. Ft. and has a King size bed and an extra single bed for an additional person. The view from the master bedroom goes all the way to the Sacre Coeur. The master bedroom shares the first bathroom.

The modern, up-to-date kitchen has a refrigerator, conventional convection oven, Microwave oven, cook-top, Dishwasher. There is also a clothes washing machine and dryer.

Finally, another separate toilet is at the entrance of the Paris apartment.
