From this exclusive apartment you can enjoy the Island�s unique Old World charm: gentle pace, noble facades, and narrow medieval streets. The Latin Quarter, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Marais, the Place des Vosges, and antique shops of the Rue St. Paul are all within a short stroll. Nestled in the tiny island streets you will find boutiques, cafes, and fine restaurants, as well as the flagship store of the famous Berthillon ice cream!
Located in a fine 18th century building with a classic view over the banks of the Seine, concierge and elevator (half flight of stairs at each end), this is a large (1400 sq. ft) top-floor, three-level apartment. Decorated in a highly Parisian, eclectic style with fine antiques and painted Mexican furniture. Many personal items around the apartment make this a real home-away-from-home in Paris. The entrance hall leads to an immense living room/dining area with a view of the Seine. Special features include magnificent roof beams, intricate parquet floors, fine pictures, and an open fireplace. There is a small adjoining office as well as a flat screen Plasma Cable TV, DSL with Wi-Fi, and Stereo.
The well-equipped kitchen has a pretty Mexican tiled worktop, washer, dryer, dishwasher, and American sized refrigerator. Some cupboards are reserved for the owner.
The first bedroom has a King size bed, bathroom with tub, shower and toilet. A short curved stairway leads to the cozy middle floor, where you find the second bedroom with a comfortable antique single bed and an additional small antique single bed that may be used as a daybed, or for a child.
Additional steps without handrail (not recommended for small children) lead to the attic and the third bedroom. There you will find three single beds, and space for an extra mattress on the floor. The two single beds can be put together to make a double bed. This room is right under the eaves, which gives it charm, but not a lot of headroom; a bathroom with tub and toilet adjoin.
