APARTMENT LOCATION

This wonderfully sunny and large apartment (605 Sq. Ft., Sleeps 3) is a 'faux' one bedroom (actually a very large studio) on the Ile de la Cite with a great view looking into the afternoon sun towards the Latin Quarter and the back of Notre Dame Cathedral. It is located directly across the street from the park behind the Notre Dame Cathedral (Notre Dame de Paris). The street is fairly calm as it is on the boarder of the gardens of Notre Dame but does have pedestrian traffic. The Pompidou Centre, Ile Saint Louis, Sainte Chapelle, Place Michelet and the Latin Quarter, the Saint Germain des Pres district, and Le Marais are all within walking distance.

APARTMENT DESCRIPTION

The apartment is on the third floor with elevator in a classic building. There is a space used as a bedroom that is separated by a folding screen with a Queen size bed behind it. The main salon has a sofa bed that can be used to accommodate one child. The furnishings are a mixture of contemporary and antique pieces with a separate dining area with table and four chairs. Equipment included Cable TV, Stereo, and DSL Internet access.

The very modern kitchen is completely equipped with a refrigerator, a full size conventional oven, ceramic cook-top, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, and a microwave.

The modern bathroom has a basin, toilet, and a very beautiful walk-in shower behind a curved glass screen.
