Overlooking a pretty, tree-lined, cobbled square with outdoor cafes, restaurants, art galleries and a lively nightlife, this is a charming apartment in the Chatelet/Hotel de Ville district on the edge of the Marais. The Pompidou Centre, Picasso Museum, Place des Vosges, the Seine, Notre Dame, Ile de la Cite, are all within strolling distance and there is a direct metro to the Louvre and the Champs Elysees.

APARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Located in an attractive old building, a broad staircase leads to this second floor apartment that overlooks the street on one side and a courtyard on the other. Polished wood floors, tall windows, and white walls - this bright, sunny apartment reflects the taste of its elegant Italian owner! The entrance hall leads to a large living room with sofa bed (sleeps 2), dining area, some nice antiques, modern paintings, and TV.

There is a sliding door to a charming bedroom with twin beds that can be put together to make a wide double bed, and an in-suite bathroom. The living room and bedroom both overlook the street and have very effective double glazing, minimizing the street sounds.

There is an excellent kitchen with breakfast bar, microwave, washing machine (no classic oven).
