This is a truly elegant and luxurious Art Deco style (upper and lower) French 2 story "duplex" apartment in one of the best locations of Paris, close to Trocadero and la Tour Eiffel. This unique accommodation is on the 3rd floor (with elevator) of an authentic Art Deco building built in 1930 that was originally a movie theatre with loft apartments on the upper levels designed to host international celebrities.
The theatre was closed but the original Art Deco features were kept intact. The whole experience is one of volume, light and space.
The spacious living room has a dramatic, 25 foot high ceiling and huge windows. The cocktail table is an impressive, wooden Indian art table flanked by a 10 foot long sofa upholstered in pale yellow striped fabric, and 2 Art Deco style armchairs. Recessed artificial lighting contributes to make the space very modern. The dining area has been set up with a simple yet massive rectangular wooden table with straight line iron chairs. An additional sofa which can accommodate one overnight guest is nested in the alcove behind the dining area.
There is a big entrance hall with a wide stairway leading to the upper floor which consists of a closed space dedicated to the master bedroom and bathroom, and a comfortable loggia designed around a balcony overlooking the main salon. A queen size bed there offers accommodation for 2 additional guests, yet the height of the rounded balcony allows privacy at all times.
The master bedroom upstairs is simple yet elegant. A king size bed offers comfort and plenty of room, and a 1930 mirrored console table is an elegant accent piece. A wall to wall mirrored sliding door closet allows spacious yet discreet storage space.
Next to the master bedroom there is a 1930's style bathroom with a generous oversized corner bathtub and 2 hand basins.
The bathroom on the same level as the salon has a walk-in shower, toilet, and a basin.
On the lower floor, there is a very stark, modern style U-shaped fully furnished kitchen with white bright fitted units and matching immaculate walls.
