This typical Parisian family apartment is light, spacious, and furnished with interesting eclectic antiques. It is "comfortable" rather than "chic" and decorated with imagination reflecting the owners' taste including a tortoise shell wall in the dining room. A narrow balcony overlooks the boulevard. It is in a well maintained 19th Century building with a concierge.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor with elevator that starts at one half flight of stairs up from the ground level. The entry hall leads to a spacious Living/Dining room with carpeted floors and some antique rugs, arm chairs, and comfortable sofas, including a single sofa-bed, and large windows opening onto the balcony. There is also an antique dining table.
A long central passage with overhead bookshelves leads to a country style eat-in Kitchen with table and chairs and a dishwasher and washing machine.
There are two carpeted bedrooms. Bedroom #1 overlooks the interior building courtyard and has a double bed and the TV. Bedroom #2 overlooks the street side (the windows have double glazing for sound control) and has two single beds, and an extra folding mattress suitable for a sleeping a child. This bedroom has an ensuite walk-in shower room and a walk-in closet.
There is a separate full bathroom with a bathtub and basin. The toilet is in a separate enclosure.
